The common modications include insect-resistant, herbicide-tolerant, and stacked gene varieties. Since its first commercial introduced in 1996, its application has been growing rapidly. There are three major crops that are commonly genetically engeered: cotton, soybean, and corn.
Based on data from USDA, I plot the adoption of genetically engeered crops in United State in recently years. The dashboard I made was shown bellow.
